A new camera?!

Well, I did it. I bought myself a new camera. We looked online on the reviews of three different ones: Fuji F31D, Nikon S9 and Nikon S7c.

With all the good reviews on the Fuji, I decided to buy it. We bought it through Beach Camera and it should be delivered to the house by Friday or next week sometime. I also bought a Olympus 2gb memory stick from Newegg, which should be here either later on tonight or tomorrow, hopefully.

The camera is actually pretty nice. My parents left FL to drive up here to Boise on Sunday. I called them up and told them I'm giving them my Canon A80 camera since I am buying a new one. They didn't mind at all, really. I had that camera, I would probably say at least since 2002. I bought it at Circuit City with a friend of mine back then... I can't believe a lot of people still use that camera though. I would have guessed by now with all the upgrades that Canon has done as well as Nikon that my model would have been out of style. I noticed a lot of folks still used the same model I do, is because when you search over on Flickr, most of the shots people have taken are with a Canon A80 camera. I thought that was pretty interesting to share :D

Anyhow, I'm hoping that it's worth my wild. I just spent close to $300 out of my pocket to get a new camera, which kind of hurt me in the end. I am kind of glad I didn't charge it on my normal ATM card, or I would have been screwed. My rent check just finally cashed, and then the money I payed on my CC finally went through with a few *Other* misc. items that it kinda dunked me a new one... Oh well, I can make that up in at least 3 weeks or so, hopefully.

Well, as I said above, my parents should be in town this weekend OR Monday/Tuesday. I think it's gonna be awesome. Now only if my boss will give me full morning shifts for two weeks, or at least *good* shifts, so I can spend time with my folks.

Anyhow, that's all the updates for now. I got an hour and 30 mins before I need to go to work.. Keep safe all :)
